When meeting Tony for the first time, one word comes to mind.... ADVENTUROUS! Since he was a teenager, Tony has been racing just about everything he could get his hands on. He started out drag racing his V8 Vega Mustang, but quickly moved onto fully built drag bikes. It didn't take long to take up racing snowmobiles and boats as well. All along he was learning to do all of the mechanical and body work for all of his various toys. The only thing that finally got Tony to slow down a little bit was his son who convinced him to try shooting paintball. So, he decided to finally give up drag racing and instead travelled the midwest with his son and a competitive paintball team.
With all of this speed and adventure growing up it shouldn't come as any surprise that Tony eventually discovered offloading. Initially, it was in his Chevy truck with it's monster 44 inch wheels! However, a few years ago his son purchased a Jeep Wrangler and Tony liked what he saw. It didn't take him long to follow suit. Tony and his wife, Lisa have been members of the Glass City Crawlers for the past year and a half and have enjoyed tons of trips with the club with Bundy Hill and Snow Way Dude as some of their favorite trips. Tony and his family have a lot of plans for their Jeep JKU. As with all of his past builds, Tony is doing all of the work himself in his 40'X40' garage with lift. One of the biggest trips that they are looking forward to is the Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam coming up in April. One of their 3 children now lives in South Carolina working as a Nuclear Engineer in the Navy. So, the Jeep Jam offers the perfect mix of family time and off-roading! So, for those of you who need a bit more adventure in your life, I encourage you to hang out with Tony at the next GCC event!
